NW heavy duty open winch is designed and manufactured according to FEM European standard has compact structure, easy operation, precise positioning, safe and efficient operation. Rated hoisting capacity is 3.2 ton to 500 ton. Many new technologies such as variable frequency control, braking energy feedback and safety monitoring system are applied.

High operating safety and reliability by smart control system with variable frequency drive. The inverter makes the lifting and travelling speed faster and more accurate under high load conditions, which greatly improves the working efficiency. The mechanical load is associated with many components, making start and stop smoother and completely immune to overload. In addition, energy consumption is lower due to optimal power.

Features

Hoisting mechanism employs three-pivot installation structure, both ends of reel support on end beam of two sides of trolley frame, pulley beam connects end beams on both sides through bolts to form longitudinal beam. Output shaft of reducer should be coordinately connected to outstretched reel shaft. The elastic coupling can be applied to hoisting motor and reducer.

1. Welding reel. Reel should be made of short shaft steel plate rolling, with bearing based on both ends, one of them outstretches set shaft. The structure is simple and easy for adjustment and installation.

2. Frequency conversion hoisting motor, which is optimized air-cooling type with insulation level of F and protection level IP55, power continuity of 40%.

3. Hoisting Reducer. Hardened surface reducer. gears surface carburized and hardened with hardness of HRC60, gears also been grinded with grade of DIN6 with low noise. The reducer has light weight, food sealing and no leakage.

4. Hoisting Brake. The regular closed brake has automatic abrasion compensation function which can manual release under emergency situations through separate manual operation. If necessary, two brakes can be installed.

5. Hook unit. The hook group consists of hook and pulley. The hook material is DG34CrMo, pulley material is Q345 hot-rolling. It uses anti-friction roller bearing, the hook can be 360 degrees rotated, the supplied spring-pressed safe lock can prevent from slipping off. All pulleys use maintenance-free bearing, the design can efficiently prevent abrasion between steel rope and pulley shell. It has delicate overall structure and volume as well as nice appearance.

6. Hoisting Limit Switch. Four-stage adjustable rotation lifting limit switch, self re-setting function, the lifting pre-limit can reduce impact and maximum limit can avoid hook over hoisting.

7. Electric control box. With protection level IP55 and air plug for easy and fast installation.

•  Travelling Mechanism

The travelling gear motor adopts three in one(motor, reducer and brake) compact structure, with insulation level of F and protection level of IP55, and load continuity of 40%. It is provided with thermal protection, power-distribution magnetic disk brake and reducer with hardened surface reducer, gears also been grinded with grade of DIN6 with low noise. Gear oil need not replaced during the service life cycle of gearbox.

Forged wheels, hardness of wheel rim and tread surface is HB330-380.

Travelling speed by variable frequency control, run with heavy load at low speed and light load at high speed, the speed regulating rages in 1:10, with stable running and no impacting.

Limit switch of trolley uses two step cross travel limit switch, which can reduce the travelling speed to zero slowly before the collision of the buffer with blocks place at the end of rail.

•  Electric Control Cabinet and Electric Protection

Electric Control Cabinet surface is dealt with through antisepsis plastic spraying, reasonable layout and easy maintenance, with IP55 protection class. Working environment temperature shall be lower than 45℃ and the humidity shall be less than 90%. The main power supply is 380V(+/-10%) to 3 phase, 50Hz(+/-5%). All wires have color, number or wire size marks and wiring reasonable for easy identification. The fixed cable is arranged at groove has protective galvanized steel pipe. The plug used standard code in order to avoid incorrect connection. All connection adopts overloaded air plugs and sockets, which can be solid connected and have easy installation and assembly.

Electric protection equipment including main hoisting limit switch, trolley travelling two step limit switch, emergency disconnect switch, protection for short circuit, pressure lass, zero position, over current and over speed. Which sufficiently ensures the safety.

•  Safety Monitoring System

Weihua designs safety monitoring systems for hoisting and travelling mechanism, many functions can be achieved according to the demands of users.

1. Compute the rest circles of safety work of hoisting mechanism.

4. Accumulated start up times of hoisting motor.

5. Over-heat protection of hoisting motor and alarm.

Optional Functions

For several cranes travelling on the same rail, the common resolutions refer to install contact anti-collision device to avoid sharp impact due to incorrect operation. Non-contact infrared sensor anti-collision device will be additionally installed to take double safety protection measures with sound and light alarm if running busily or under an important working environment.

Loads can be safely transported by two ND(S) rope hoists through one single control unit, two cranes systems with up to four rope hoists can be synchronized as well.

The electronic anti-sway control technology can reduce the mechanical and electrical damage caused by load shaking through controlling the sloshing of the load. The crane becomes easy to control, and the loads can be easily and accurately reached the designated position.

The crane operator will concentrate on the load itself, rather than the movement of the crane, the entire transportation process will be safer, accurate and the work efficiency will be greatly improved.
