Safety Monitoring System
Weihua designs safety monitoring systems for hoisting and travelling mechanism, many functions can be achieved according to the demands of users.

High Strength Steel Rope
Imported high strength steel wire rope with tensile strength of 2160kN/mm², steel wire surface galvanized to prevents rust, with good safety performance and long service life.
Limit Switch
A four-contact screw type lifting limit switch is provided. When the hook is close to the upper and lower limits, it will automatically alarm, when the upper and lower limits are reached, the power supply will be automatically cut off to stop the motor. It has self-reset function so that the motor can only run in the opposite direction. The lifting mechanism uses double limits to ensure that the hook does not rush to the top.
Automatic inspection system
The controller will self-check before starting, including the power supply voltage level, whether there are missing items, the effectiveness of each safety protection device and the zero position of the button.
Electric Control Cabinet and Electric Protection
Electric Control Cabinet surface is dealt with through antisepsis plastic spraying, reasonable layout and easy maintenance, with IP55 protection class. Working environment temperature shall be lower than 45℃ and the humidity shall be less than 90%. The main power supply is 380V(+/-10%) to 3 phase, 50Hz(+/-5%). All wires have color, number or wire size marks and wiring reasonable for easy identification. The fixed cable is arranged at groove has protective galvanized steel pipe. The plug used standard code in order to avoid incorrect connection. All connection adopts overloaded air plugs and sockets, which can be solid connected and have easy installation and assembly.
Electric protection equipment including main hoisting limit switch, trolley travelling two step limit switch, emergency disconnect switch, protection for short circuit, pressure lass, zero position, over current and over speed. Which sufficiently ensures the safety.
Overload Protection
ND(S) rope hoist equips electronic overload limiter (with safety monitor) to ensure the total lifting weight will not exceed the rated lifting load of the bridge, which will increase the safety of crane systems. The overload protector device will automatically cut off lifting loop if the pulling force o steel rope is more than 105% of the rated.
Hoisting Motor

Brake
The hoisting motor equips double-disc electromagnetic brake. Brake integration locates at the end of motor. The brake will automatically close if the motor powers off in order to avoid load slipping off. The brake clearance does not need to be manually regulated (which can be regulated automatically by brake spring) after being initially set, if the thickness of brake pad is lower than the setting, it will automatic alarm through additional monitor switch in order to remind user the replace it. Double-disc electromagnetic brake is safe and reliable, the brake torque is higher than 1.8 times of rated torque, the number of braking gets to 1,000,000 times and it does not need maintenance in the safety service life cycle.
In conclusion, the brake is with technical features and benefits of fast movement and high reliability, maintenance free and self-regulated, dustproof and long service cycle.
Reel
The reel is made of high-quality seamless pipes and processed by numeral control machines, after the special finishing, the rope groove on reel works coordinately with rope guide to efficiently prevent rope loose and tangling.
Rope Guide
Standard rope guide is made and processed by engineering plastics with strong abrasion resistance and good self-lubricating performance, which greatly reduces the wear of steel ropes as main force safety components and then enhances safety of hoisting mechanism. Meanwhile, based on specific working condition, the heavy grade rope guide made of ductile iron is also available.

Electrical components uses ABB, Siemens and Schneider international brands.
Motor
Hoisting motor is double-winding squirrel-cage pole-changing dual speed hoisting motor, speed ratio 6:1, work duty can reach M6. Travelling motor adopts VFD control, standard speed 2-20m/min.
Variable Frequency Drive(VFD) Unit
Variable Frequency Drive(VFD) design is best suite for varied travel speed and the highest positioning accuracy working conditions required, such as high precision machining and assembly workshops and handling the precious dangerous products.

Anti-collision Protection
For several cranes travelling on the same rail, the common resolutions refer to install contact anti-collision device to avoid sharp impact due to incorrect operation. Non-contact infrared sensor anti-collision device will be additionally installed to take double safety protection measures with sound and light alarm if running busily or under an important working environment.
Tandem Operation
Loads can be safely transported by two ND(S) rope hoists through one single control unit, two cranes systems with up to four rope hoists can be synchronized as well.
Smart Electronic Anti-sway Control Technology
The electronic anti-sway control technology can reduce the mechanical and electrical damage caused by load shaking through controlling the sloshing of the load. The crane becomes easy to control, and the loads can be easily and accurately reached the designated position.
The crane operator will concentrate on the load itself, rather than the movement of the crane, the entire transportation process will be safer, accurate and the work efficiency will be greatly improved.
